Organic Long Grain White Rice, Lundberg, 13oz

Lundberg's Organic White Long Grain Rice is fluffy, aromatic, and cooks in about 25 minutes. Serve it alongside soups, stews, curries, and more, this is a staple for any table.

Lundberg Family Farms has been growing rice in California's Sacramento River Delta area since 1937. In the 1960s, the Lundberg family committed to growing rice differently, pioneering the farming or organic and "eco-farmed" rice, and protecting bird habitat in their rice fields.  The Lundberg family moved from Nebraska to the rice-growing region of Northern California in the 1930s. For their earliest days as California rice farmers, the Lundbergs have always had a commitment to land stewardship and sustainability. Today, Lundberg is owned and operated by the third generation. The Lundberg family was the pioneer of organic rice production in California. In the 1960s, the three Lundberg brothers began farming organically and ecologically, and producing rice out of their own brand. Today most of Lundberg’s rice is certified organic, and what isn’t is “eco-farmed,” with limited chemical use and incorporating ecological growing practices. The Lundberg’s also actively preserve their rice fields as habitat for migrating water fowl. Lundberg rice is some of the highest quality you can come by. They grow a myriad of varieties, from short and long grain rices to arborio, sushi, and basmati. The gluten-free rice pastas have only one ingredient--organic brown rice! And are so delicious that they are loved even by gluten eaters.  Cooking Instructions: 1. Combine rice, water, and butter (optional) in a pot and bring to a boil. 2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low-simmer, and cook 15 minutes. 3. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork. *If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer. Tip: To prepare in rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio. I love waking up on a Saturday and all the groceries I need are just there. It makes brunch so simple, so easy.

Michelle, Redwood City

I go to work leaving the kitchen empty. Before I’d have to stress about doing a run to the store after work. Now I come home and the pantry is stocked, the fridge is full. It’s truly magical.

Osifunke, San Francisco

It’s just so fricking easy, simple and I am saving money. And no plastic?! Who’d have thought?

Frequent asked questions

How does the Zero system work?

Zero couldn’t be easier! Buy a subscription for $25 a month and get to shopping. Select in our online store at which items you want as weekly refills. Checkout online for those items, a full size of each (e.g. sugar is 16oz). Each week our milkwomen will come by, enter your home and refill your groceries with our trusted carts, live in your kitchen! You will only get charged for what we dispense.

How do I checkout for my first grocery shop?

Once you have purchased subscription at, you can place your first grocery order. By purchasing, you are signalling what you require as weekly refills. We will then come by every week and refill those items.

How do you know what to refill?

We always fill a jar right back up to the top. If sugar is 16oz, and only 1oz has been used, we will refill 1oz and charge you for 1oz of sugar. Likewise, if you used all 16oz, we will refill all 16oz, right back to the top.
